  2. Participation: 30% (each section, CAA’s record)

  3. Values Ranking Presentation: 20% (Prof. Carol Lin)

  4. Reflection write-up: 20% (Days 1 and 2, Prof. Shiu)

  5. Online academic / research ethics exam: Pass



Grading details:



Attendance: 30% (each section, course assistant’s record)



Per section, 3 points will be deducted whenever students show up late or depart early.

7 points will be deducted when students miss/skip one section (lecture or case discussion).



 



Participation: 30% (lecture + case discussion, course assistant’s record)



Course assistant will record the number/frequency of class discussion per student per section. The maximum number of participations per student per section is five times. If you have reached sharing opinion five times per section, please kindly give the chance of expression to other students. 



 



Values ranking presentation: 20% (Prof. Lin)



Grading will be based on values ranking presentation (team).



 



Reflection write-up: 20% (Day 1 + Day 2, Prof. Shiu)



Students must submit one-page (12 fonts, single space) write-up to document their learning reflection on each day’s section. The due for each day’s write-up is 11:59 PM on that day. Please upload the write-up with name and student ID in a PDF file to Moodle (e-learning platform). Grade will be negatively affected for late submission. Please see the last page for the rubric for reflection write-up.



 



Online academic / research ethics exam: PASS



Students must take online research ethics courses equal to 6 credit hours at AREE website and take the online exam as a final exam before the end of September, 2025. Students must provide the certificate to Ms. June Lin, Office of College of Commerce.

Textbook is not required. Students need to purchase 4 cases.
