Short Video Creation: Engaging Audiences in the Digital Age



This dynamic 3-hour workshop will equip students with the skills to create captivating short videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Participants will learn essential video production techniques.



This workshop will teach the techniques include:



Storyboarding and Scripting: Developing compelling narratives and crafting concise scripts that resonate with target audiences.  



Visual Composition and Storytelling: Utilizing effective visual composition, including framing, lighting, and movement, to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.  



Mobile Videography Techniques: Mastering smartphone camera features, such as stabilization, focus, and exposure, to capture high-quality footage.



Editing Basics: Learning to edit videos using simple mobile editing apps, including trimming clips, adding music and sound effects, and incorporating text overlays and visual effects.



Platform-Specific Best Practices: Understanding the unique characteristics and audience preferences of different short video platforms to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
