Spanier, American Foreign Policy since World War II (Washington, DC: CQ Press, various editions); James McCormick, ed., The Domestic Sources of American Foreign Policy: Insights and Evidence (Lanham, Maryland: Rowman & Littlefield, 6th Edition or newer); and Robert J. Leiber, Indispensable Nation: American Foreign Policy in a Turbulent World (New Haven: Yale University, 2022).
