Course Description
Course Schedule

Day: Thursdays 13:00-16:00

Location: CSS North Building, GIS Lab 270610

This course is designed to be welcoming and approachable for students from all academic backgrounds. Whether you're an engineering student, an architect, a designer, or exploring a new skill from an entirely different field, you'll find a supportive learning environment here.

We understand that many students arrive with no prior experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or vector graphics. This isn't a barrier—the curriculum is specifically structured to:

  • Start from foundational concepts

  • Build skills progressively and systematically

  • Avoid repetitive, monotonous training

  • Develop a versatile, transferable skill set

We will primarily use AutoCAD 202x, a design tool across multiple industries. The software will have both English and Mandarin interface options. The course language will be English.
