– Participation and attendance: 10% (‘perfect’ attendance policy – 0 or 1 absence, regardless of cause, includes abstinence from cellphone) – Mid-term: 30% (April 17) – Research Essay: 30% (May 22 in class) Requirements: >5 double-spaced, typed pages, with citations (footnotes or endnotes). Late papers accepted May 29 (10% reduction), June 5 (20% reduction) Topic of your choosing, with professor’s consultation. More details to be discussed in class – Final: 30% (June 5) |
