Requirement/Grading

There are four key grades in class:

Midterm: 30%

Final: 30%

Participation: 20%

Presentations: 20%

The midterm exam will cover our study of comparative politics and the final exam our study of international relations. The final exam is not cumulative, meaning that you will only be tested on the second half of the semester.

Participation is measured by student participation in in-class discussion along with weekly quizzes. Quizzes are short, multiple choice weekly check-ins to make sure students are doing the reading.

Presentations will be delivered in the last two weeks of class. Instructions will come later in the semester.
