Requirement/Grading

  1. Attendance and participation(40%)

  1. Case brief and discussion leader(30%)

Every student will be assigned several cases, for which you have to be well prepared, give a short summary, and lead the discussion in class. You are suggested to provide power point presentation to guide the discussion. All cases for this course will be assigned in the first meeting.

  1. Final presentation and case comment(30%)

Final presentation and case comment are important for evaluation. Case comment follows standard rules. Students are free to select any case concerning Anglo-American insurance law – not limited to the cases you brief or cases in the text book. You should summarize and provide professional analysis of the case. The final paper should be submitted within one week after the end of this semester.
