本學期課程計畫

1. 本課程為一學分的課，上課時數為18小時，包括4小時的學術演講與14小時的碩一生論文報告。


2. 原則上每個月舉辦一場校外老師的學術演講，總共四場，上課時間為週一下午1:30-2:30。


3. 原則上學期間安排七次碩一生口頭報告，每次由四位同學準備25分鐘(含3分鐘Q&A)報告，上課時間為當週一下午1:00-3:00。


4. 開學前會寄信通知或公告11次上課日期(4+7=11週)。

Course plan (Tentatively)

1. This is a one-credit, 18-hour course. It includes a 4-hour scholar session and 14-hour student session.


2. The 4-hour scholar session are hold on Monday, 13:30-14:30.


3. The student session is hold on 7 scheduled weeks. Every week, there are 4 students giving 20-minute oral scientific presentations on Monday, 13:00-15:00.

非碩一生:

1. (70%)出席紀錄，每次出席可獲得7分。


2. (30%)請挑選三次學術演講，於隔日下午五時前將「80-120字摘要+一個問題」上傳至課程網站，每份報告滿分10分。


3. 課程中提問將獲得額外分數。

Grading Policy for non-first-grade students

1. (70%) Attendance: Students get 7 points for every attendance.


2. (30%) Feedback: Every student should give three summaries of talks of scholar session. The summary should be no more than 5 sentences, and should include a question. The summary should be uploaded before 5 PM on the next day of the talk to the class website.


3. Students will get extra points for in-class interactions.
