Participation and discussion 20%          



Presentation  10%                      4 essays 70%



Attendance requirement



 



All students are required to attend classes regularly and punctually. 



40 points will be deducted from your final grade if you come to the classroom late for more than 3 times.



50 points will be deducted from your final grade if you are absent for more than 3 weeks.



3 points will be added to your final grade if you never miss a single class and are always punctual.



Warning



We bear zero tolerance for disrespectful and disruptive behaviour (e.g. talking loudly when silence is required.) When you disturb the order of our classroom for the second time, you will be asked to leave the classroom immediately. 50 points will be taken away from your final grade as a result.



All essays must be submitted on time. If you submit your essay later than its due date, you get a 0 for that assignment.
