Requirement/Grading |
- Final Project (25%):
- All students will identify their core values in life that are relevant in the corporate world. Through this project, students will form a backbone of their philosophy in making their decisions. By writing presenting their mission statements students will specify what kinds of business professionals they would like to be in the future.
- Group Activity & Discussions (50%):
- This class involves a lot of group activities. Students will be formed into a group in all sessions to discuss cases, role-playing, and to engage in team-based competitions.
- All the outputs will be submitted with a specified due date. Late submission will be penalized.
- A peer-evaluation will be conducted in all sessions. If the lowest grade is given to the same person from multiple members, then the penalty will be given. If the highest grade is given to the same person, an extra point will be given, vice versa.
- Individual Participation (25%):
- (5%) Attendance: More than two absences will automatically lead to the failure of this class. For an excused absence, must send me an email in advance.
- (20%) “Cold-calls” will be conducted. For meaningful comments, additional points will be given. Remember, active participation and class attendance matter for this class.
- Academic Policy & Others:
- Any kind of academic dishonesty will lead to a failing grade (e.g., cheating, misrepresenting, and plagiarism). Please make sure to cite and acknowledge all sources in order to avoid any unintentional plagiarism. There is NO tolerance for academic dishonesty!
- Please note that an absence of two or more weeks will penalize your final grade. In case of an unavoidable absence, please let me know in advance. Also, being late is considered unacceptable because it interferes with the learning environment for others.
- I am happy to assist students with disabilities. Please talk to me in case you need any assistance.
- If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them. Remember, there is no such thing as a “dumb” question.
- Mentoring, career-coaching, and language (English) supports are opened to all students. If you are willing to communicate with me, please feel free to contact me at any time. Lastly, let’s enjoy this semester!! J
