  2. Attendance,* participation, in-class writing, and other assignments 10%

  3. Individual book report  20% (One oral presentation + summaries) 

  4. Final writing test  10%

  5. Final writing portfolio 12%



* Writing assignments: The penalty for late submission is 5 points per day until the mark reaches zero.



* Unexcused absence: No show and no communication with the instructor



o FOUR UNEXCUSED ABSENCES WILL RESULT IN FAILING GRADE



o SIX ABSENCES OF ANY KIND WILL RESULT IN FAILING GRADE
