Assignments
There will be a number of in-class writing assignments throughout the term, the majority of which will be group work.
Grading
In-Class Work and writing assignments: 70% Quizzes: 30%
Assignments turned in late will be marked down 5% for each day they are turned in after the due date. E-mailed papers are not accepted.
Plagiarism Plagiarism is a serious academic crime. It means copying someone else’s words without properly quoting and citing them, or trying to pass off someone else’s writing as your own. If you plagiarize, I will give you a “0” on the paper or assignment in question, and I may fail you out of the class entirely. |
