一、課堂出席與討論 30%



這門課重視同學們的課堂參與,包含出席與課堂討論。請同學們於上課前,以開放的態度閱讀完當週指定內容,練習批判思考並嘗試分析教材與生活經驗的關聯性。在上課時積極參與討論,並學習聆聽、尊重同儕的發言。



 



二、當週指定閱讀之閱讀心得 50%



為鼓勵與督促同學課前閱讀指定教材,以增進學習效果及課堂討論品質,本課程要求同學繳交至少十份閱讀心得,每份三到五頁(標楷體一倍行距、12號字)。心得請於當週上課前一天中午前上傳至數位學習網同學們可自行任選十週的英文指定閱讀,撰寫閱讀心得報告繳交,每份閱讀心得佔5%,十份共占學期總分50%,假若發現抄襲一概以0分計算。除有特殊原因並預先告知的同學外,遲交心得報告分數打七折。

三、期末口頭報告 20%



請同學於最後一週課堂上,任選一篇全球老化相關的研究的期刊文章。進行約15分鐘的口頭報告。報告的形式和國際研討會ㄧ樣,請同學用15分鐘的時間向與會聽眾與學者,用英語介紹一個完整的研究。此作業的目的在於培養同學用英語做口語簡報的能力並習慣國際研討會的論文發表模式。請同學們儘早開尋找考期末報告的文章,最遲於第十週前決定主題並跟我討論。另外我也會在課堂中教導同學在英文研討會發表的技巧和注意事項。這份口頭報告佔學期總分的20%。同學們只需準備口頭報告的內容和 powerpoint 無須繳交紙本報告。
