Course Schedule

The course takes place on Monday afternoons and is open to all students. The main teaching language and all material (including software locales) are in English. A teaching assistant will provide support in Mandarin when needed.



This course explicitly welcomes students from other study fields as the concepts of modeling and databses are not exclusively related to the field of geomatics.

Teaching Assistant

To be completed after appointment of teaching assistant.


Requirement/Grading

The course is successfully completed if the participant passes the mid-term and final exams with a combined score of 60% or better. The exams consist of background theory (mid-term) and project work (final exam).


Textbook & Reference

All material will be handed out during class. A list of recommended readings will be provided during the first lecture.
