Assessment: Your class participation is required. Notice regarding this class will be sent to you by e-mail. Therefore please make sure you check your university e-mail and act accordingly. Class materials will be uploaded to the course webpage on https://wm5.nccu.edu.tw/.
No request of early final exam will be permitted.
The grade will be based on class participation (5%), quizzes (10%), one project (15%), two midterm exams (each 20%), and an accumulative final exam (30%).
Problem sets will be given out every week after the lecture. Please study the class materials along with the problem sets. There will be no more than 5 quizzes given in lecture during the semester. Each quiz will contain questions similar to those in the problem set given to you in the previous week. No notice of a quiz will be given in advance.
This project will help you think about how the economic models you learned in class could be applied to real life. Details of the project will be given to you after the first midterm. Presentation date: 2019/06/09.
