Office hour: Noon-1pm, Tuesday (@7th floor desk in front of the IB department office)



Teaching assistants offer weekly office hour or review session. The details of the review sessions will be announced during the lecture.


Requirement/Grading

Evaluation:




  • Homework (3): 15 percent

  • Midterm 1: 20 percent

  • Midterm 2: 30 percent

  • Final exam: 35 percent





Homework: There will be 3 homeworks during the semester. Late homeworks will not be accepted for any circumstances. The tentative schedule of homework is as follows: 1st Homework: (10/18, due 11/1), 2nd Homework: (11/15, due 11/29), 3rd Homework: (12/20, due 1/3)





Exam Times (TBD):




  • Midterm 1: Thursday, November 8, in class time.

  • Midterm 2: Thursday, December 6, in class time.

  • Final Exam: Thursday, January 10, in class time

     


Textbook & Reference

“Macroeconomics” by Gregory Mankiw. Any edition after the 6th edition is sufficient to follow the material of the course. The chapter number in the syllabus is based on the 6th edition.
