Requirement/Grading

Students are expected to have read assigned materials and to have completed assignments prior to each class. The class discussions/lectures are intended to emphasize the primary concepts from each reading and to provide an opportunity to answer any questions that may result from the readings and assignments. In addition to classroom lectures, students should anticipate spending time working in the computer laboratory to practice a few IS applications. 



Evaluation 

20% Individual Exercises (4*5 exercises) 

25% Group Exercises (5*5 exercises) 

45% Projects (10, 20, 15) 

10% Participation 


 



Each person's frequency and quality of contribution to the class discussion will be assessed and reflected in the class participation score. If you cannot attend a class it is a courtesy to inform your group or team members and your professor in advance if possible. Excessive unexcused absence will result in my recommending that you withdraw from the course.
