Requirement/Grading

Requirements: Regular attendance, active participation, and timely submission of all assignments. There will be two research papers of about 10 to 12 pages each, including bibliography, tables, charts, etc. Quizzes on vocabulary and concepts will help students to increase their knowledge. Short writing exercises will give students opportunities for practice. There will be two oral presentations (group and/or individual) on the research papers. The final grade for the course will be an average of the scores from all of the graded assignments. Absenteeism will have a negative effect on the final grade for the course.
