Requirement/Grading

  1. Five written weekly reports (totaled 50 points), or pending on the number of registered students. Coordinating with other classmates, students choose 5 topics among topics 3-17 for oral presentation, each lasting about 15-20 minutes with PPT handout. The written reports should contain a summary (1-2 pages), comments (2 pages), and possible applications or implications to your dissertation (1 page). Those who are not responsible for oral presentation should read at least the introduction, theoretical chapter, and conclusion of the assigned book. Those who are responsible for oral presentation should read additional chapters.

  2. Final report, 30 points.

  3. Class participation, 20 points. All students need to contribute to class discussion. Two absences without excuses are allowed. Each additional absence will cause a deduction of 5 points from the final grade.
