The content of the course is partly tied to the official Czech Citizenship Exam (see the link below). However, the criteria of the exam are not required from the participants. However, the course keeps the basic areas of knowledge expected that foreigners who wish to study or work in the Czech Republic should know. Students will have regular graded quizzes given by teacher after finishing each thematic block during the semester. The final written exam will include theoretical and practical – “Czech survival” – part. Homework assigned for some of the class meeting. Attendance: Excessive unexcused absences will be reflected by lowering of a final grade down progressively. Grading will be 100% to zero, 60% is minimum to success. Marking scale will be in percentage.
