Abstract:
How can we use AI to ask more meaningful questions, build stronger explanations, and recognize weaknesses in our own work? This panel explores AI’s role across five stages of research: ideation and problematization, literature review, data analysis, interpretation of findings, and critical review of one’s own paper. Discussions will examine how AI can help researchers challenge established assumptions, connect research streams, explore analytical approaches, identify alternative explanations, and anticipate reviewers’ concerns. The panel will also address the judgment required to use AI effectively. Through practical research scenarios and shared experiences, the discussion aims to offer business/management researchers concrete ways to work with AI while preserving originality, methodological rigor, and intellectual ownership.
