This talk examines consumer recycling behavior and closed-loop supply chain management under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations. It explores how economic incentives, recycling convenience, and behavioral factors such as pride and guilt influence consumers’ recycling decisions, and how firms can adapt their pricing, recycling incentives, and consumer engagement strategies as EPR requirements become increasingly stringent.
Speaker Bio
Professor Chung-Li Tseng is Professor of Operations Management at the UNSW Business School and Executive Director of the UNOVA Knowledge Hub for Digital Transformation. His research focuses on operations management, energy, sustainability, infrastructure, and business analytics, with extensive experience in multidisciplinary research with industry partners.
