Introduction/

Speaker: Alice Yang

This summer, Professor Yang plans to introduce the clerical script and methods for practicing calligraphy with colleagues at National Chengchi University. She will also share more information on various calligraphic styles and knowledge. Everyone is welcome to pick up a pen and practice calligraphy, finding peace and tranquility amidst the summer heat and experiencing the joy of harmonious hand-writing. Furthermore, if you have any rubbings or calligraphic models you'd like to practice, please feel free to bring them for study and exchange! This year’s calligraphy exhibition featuring the achievements of faculty, staff and students will be on display in June at the Art Heart Gallery on the fourth floor of the Arts and Culture Center. All are welcome to visit! We warmly invite all faculty and staff to join us in picking up the brush — to find calm amidst the summer heat, and to experience the joy of writing in harmony with both mind and hand. Feel free to bring your own favorite calligraphy style or copybook to practice! Registration: Sign up now via the NCCU unified registration system. Spots are limited — join us soon!
