Dennis V. Blanco is Professor at the Department of Political Science, College of Social Sciences and Philosophy in University of the Philippine-Diliman and a recipient of the 2025 Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Taiwan Fellowship Award.
He was former Associate Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at AMA International University Bahrain (now University of Technology Bahrain) and former Program Head of Political Science and Social Science in Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Manila. He was an awardee of the University of the Philippines Diliman Centennial Professorial Award from 2020-2025 and was a recipient of the 2022-2024 One UP Professorial Chair Award in Political Science (Public Administration) for Outstanding Teaching and Research. Dr. Blanco specializes in public administration, public policy, politics, and governance and has published scholarly works on sustainable development governance and sport policies in Asia. Dr. Blanco is currently the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) Division VIII (Social Sciences) Section Chair for Political Science and Public Administration.
