1947年天馬茶房外引爆二二八事件的那聲槍響，也引來自基隆港上岸的武裝軍隊，殺機四伏。在事件中本被視作安然無恙、秩序穩定的宜蘭地區，也終究未能倖免於慘烈的全台綏靖清鄉行動，三月十九日深夜時分，一個個維持和平的地方賢達被押上卡車，再也沒有回家。

海島演劇長年致力於搬演台灣本土故事，此次大戲〈水沖〉便以宜蘭二二八事件做改編，輔以受難者分享座談會，保障讓你收穫滿滿！

The gunshot that ignited the February 28 Incident in 1947 at the Tianma Tea House in Taipei sent shockwaves across Taiwan, drawing in armed troops from Keelung Harbor and plunging the island into chaos. Even Yilan, once considered a peaceful and stable region, could not escape the brutal “pacification” campaign that swept the entire island.

On the night of March 19, respected local leaders dedicated to maintaining peace were dragged onto trucks, never to return home.

Committed to bringing Taiwan’s local stories to life, 海島演劇（Island Theatre） presents 〈水沖〉"The Surging Waters," a powerful adaptation of the Yilan chapter of the 228 Incident. The play is accompanied by a moving discussion with survivors and their families — an experience you won’t want to miss!
