In recent years, Taiwan has garnered significant attention from international media due to its potential geopolitical conflicts and outstanding political and economic performance. As one of the global leaders in financial news, Bloomberg News has not only closely monitored Taiwan’s political and economic developments but has also utilized its extensive data resources to conduct in-depth observations of Taiwan.
To explore how Bloomberg News views and analyzes Taiwan’s economy through big data, the International College of Innovation at National Chengchi University has specially invited Matthew Winkler, co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Bloomberg News, to deliver a speech titled "Local Insights Under the Global Framework: Interpreting Taiwan’s Economy From Big Data."
During Winkler's quarter-century as editor-in-chief, Bloomberg became the only news organization to receive every top award in every form of print, broadcast and digital media, including: the Pulitzer Prize, the “Emmy” of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the National Magazine Award from the American Society of Magazine Editors.

近年來，台灣因為地緣政治的潛在衝突及政治經濟發展的卓越表現，受到了國際媒體極大的關注，作為全球財經新聞龍頭之一的彭博新聞社，不僅高度關注台灣的政經發展，也運用彭博多年來發展的數據資料庫，對台灣進行各種深度的觀察。
針對彭博新聞如何看待大數據對台灣經濟的分析及解讀，政治大學創新國際學院特別邀請到了彭博新聞社的共同創辦人及名譽總編輯Matthew Winkler（溫以樂），以「Local Insights Under the Global Framework: Interpreting Taiwan’s Economy From Big Data」發表演說。
在溫以樂過去擔任總編輯的25年裡，彭博是唯一一家獲得文字、廣播和數位媒體等頂尖獎項的新聞機構，包括：普立茲獎、美國國家電視藝術與科學學院的「艾美獎」，以及美國雜誌編輯協會頒發的國家雜誌獎。現在溫以樂仍是Bloomberg Opinion的專欄作家，並協助彭博採訪全球商業、金融市場和政府的新聞人物。
