The COVID-19 pandemic has created a multi-dimensional global crisis, harming physical and mental health, disrupting foreign and domestic travel, doing great damage to major sectors of affected countries' economies, crippling global supply chains, and revealing the failure of multilateral organizations to provide solutions for fighting the pandemic and restoring economic and health resilience. As the pandemic has shown, both public health and environmental health are essential for economic health. There is a need for different sectors, communities, and countries to work together to investigate and evaluate the management of these issues.
