1930年代，北歐少數民族薩米人被視為次等的存在，不甘蒙受歧視的薩米女孩懷著成為瑞典人的夢，隻身來到市區，而她的離鄉，又為人生留下了何等遺憾？薩米族導演在反映族群壓迫與生存困境之餘，亦 細膩捕捉青春期的悸動與蕩漾。
A reindeer-breeding S?mi girl who is exposed to the racism of the 1930's at her boarding school, starts dreaming of another life. But to achieve it, she has to become someone else and break all ties with her family and culture.
