Requirement/Grading


1. Class Participation and Engagement (20%): Active participation in class discussions, asking questions, contributing insights, and engaging in collaborative activities.


2. Mid-term paper (30%):




  • Reflective Journal: Keeping a journal throughout the course to reflect on personal insights, ethical considerations, and the integration of social innovation and civil society concepts into macro social work practice.



3. Term paper (50%): choose one of the following topics




  • Policy Analysis Paper: A comprehensive policy analysis paper on a selected social innovation issue, highlighting its impact on social change and proposing recommendations for improvement.

  • Case Study Analysis: Analyzing a real-world case study related to social innovation, evaluating its effectiveness, and identifying key lessons and implications for macro practice.
