講座現職：Senior Researcher, The Institute of Research and Study on the Arab and Muslim Worlds/ Senior Lecturer, Centre for social sciences studies on the African, American and Asian worlds (CESSMA)
本次第一屆「中東與非洲國際研討會」由國立政治大學國際事務學院全球政經發展及區域研究中心、外語學院、外交系、阿拉伯語文學系、國立金門大學閩南文化碩士學位學程、人文社會學院、中央研究院社會學研究所、中央研究院民族學研究所等共同主辦。
會中特別邀請Dr. Thomas Pierret以「Topic: A ' frozen' conflict? Syria between diplomatic stalemate and ongoing violence」為題進行演講。
以及Dr. Me'riam Cheikh以「Topic: Class hierarchy and the unfolding of intimacy in Morocco: informalisation and sexual politics in a Muslim context」為題進行演講。
